Welcome! I’m Alpine Jennings. I’m a consumer banking innovator and I love customers!As a banker, my focus has always been on improving customer experience. As a business executive, my expertise is in creating vision, cultivating a customer-centric culture, and leading teams to improve customer experience and company performance.My passion for customers began at the small bank branch where I worked as a teller during college. I quickly learned that the bank wasn’t designed for customers–it was designed for bankers. Even simple things like office hours weren’t customer friendly. Because we were only open from 9am to 4pm weekdays, and from 10am to 6pm on Fridays, most working customers could only visit the bank on their lunch hour or late Friday afternoon. It was so busy during those times that customers waited 10 to 15 minutes to visit a teller and as much as an hour to see a banker.There are many other examples, but my point is that customer experience can be so much better than standing in lines. As customers increasingly adopt digital channels to interact with companies, the need for creativity and customer focus is greater than ever. Our responsibility as leaders is simple:
